Communication Effectiveness

In our first “Blog” of 2023 we thought it may be helpful to remind ourselves of an essential and intelligent communication strategy as featured in Rik Rushton’s book “The Power of Connection” where he says When you speak to a person in your preferred way, you speak to their head.  When you speak to them in a way that matches their personality, you speak to their heart!

Being a compelling communicator and correspondingly an effective leader is supported and enhanced by your understanding of a person’s Instinctive Drive and the communication strategies for those driven to Verify, Authenticate, Complete and Improvise.

A deep connection depends on your ability to engage your audience which won’t “just happen”.  It’s a “two way street” with the speakers being mindful of the needs of their audience, and the audience listening actively as opposed to merely “hearing” you.
